December, 2007 - RML's CARE Center needs volunteers!
If you are interested in helping provide cancer education the CARE Center has a place for YOU! CARE Center volunteers straighten shelves, organize materials, and maintain cancer education projects in the community.
The CARE center is preparing to provide cancer education at the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life March 14th & 15th, 2008. This annual Grady County event will have a fair/circus theme this year, "Fair Well to Cancer". Library staff member Cathy Rieger is meeting with the relay committee to plan the mission delivery tent known as “The Big Top of Hope”. Volunteers for this night would provide assistance with the educational materials in the tent.
